Fire & Ice Hotel
For a boutique hotel in Old Montreal, the design was inspired by Montreal’s namesake: Mount Royal, a dormant volcano formed by glaciers 125 million years ago.
Glacial volcanoes, a combination of ice and lava, inspired the concept of a “Fire and Ice” hotel.

“Fire” Grill
The restaurant feels like the inside of a volcano: warm, electrifying, and exciting. Light reflective materials, such as metal mesh and velvet, create this effect.
The rich colors of the private dining booths make it feel cozy and inviting. Omime Designs - Violette Interior Designer - Hotel Design

Fire & Ice in the Design
The reception and restaurant areas on the “fire” side of the hotel excite through lighting and reflective materials. The cafe and ice bar on the “ice” side create intrigue through glassy finishes and cool blue tones.
